Nail Care Guide

Before You Apply

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands.

  2. Gently push back your cuticles.

  3. Lightly buff the surface of your natural nails to remove shine.

  4. Wipe each nail with alcohol to remove oils and residue.

  5. Select the correct size for each finger before applying glue.

Pro Tip: If you’re between sizes, choose the smaller nail and gently file the sides for a seamless fit.

Application Tips

  • Apply a thin, even layer of glue to your natural nail.

  • Add a small amount of glue to the press-on nail.

  • Press firmly at a 45-degree angle and hold for 20–30 seconds.

  • Avoid water for at least 1 hour after application.

For longer wear, avoid applying right after showering when nails are soft.

How to Make Them Last

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water

  • Wear gloves while washing dishes or cleaning

  • Avoid using your nails to open cans or packages

  • Apply cuticle oil daily to maintain a healthy look

With proper care, your nails can last 2 weeks or more.

Safe Removal

  1. Soak your hands in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes.

  2. Gently lift the edges with a cuticle stick (I personally love using floss picks)

  3. If needed, soak a little longer until they loosen easily.

  4. Remove excess glue by lightly buffing.

Hydrate your nails afterward with cuticle oil.

Reuse

If removed carefully, your LaChelle & Co. press-ons can be reused.

  • Remove excess glue from the back of the nail

  • Store in original packaging

  • Keep in a cool, dry place
